Cut filo pastry into 36 squares measuring 8cm x 8cm. Keep covered with a damp tea towel.
Take 3 squares of filo to make each parcel. Brush each piece with melted butter and arrange on top of each other at an angle to form a star. Place 1 piece of the cheese and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce in the centre of the star. Draw the edges of the filo up to form a parcel.
Brush each with melted butter before placing on a baking sheet in preheated oven for 6 to 10 minutes, until crisp and golden. Leave to cool for a minute before serving.
