Almond Palmiers

Easy-Peasy Crushed Almond Palmiers These French almond pastries take only 15 minutes to make but taste as if they are made by a professional pastry chef! Your children will impress any grown up they offer them to over coffee or a pot of tea! Prep time 15mins.


  • Ready roll puff pastry one sheet
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g ground almonds


  • Mix the butter, sugar and ground almonds into a soft paste.
  • Roll out pastry into large rectangle & spread paste evenly on top.
  • Roll up from both long sides until the rolls meet in the middle.
  • Cut into slices 1cm thick.
  • Bake at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 degrees until golden brown.
