Types of Information gathered

i. Electronic Newsletter

We distribute an electronic newsletter and may launch similar products in the future. Payment card information

Our online payment system uses a ‘payment gateway’ which is directly connected to Lloyds Bank Cardnet. This means that when you input card data into the payment page you are communicating directly with the bank, who process it directly before passing your payment onto us.

Canalside Farm does not store any sensitive payment card data in our systems.

Using WiFi in our Café 

We provide a free public WiFi service in our Café to access this website and the internet. Please be aware that using WiFi in any public place can be risky as unauthorised people may try to intercept anything you are doing online

When you sign onto our Wifi service you may be asked for certain information that allows us to deliver a more personalised service to you. You also agree for us to contact you with any marketing material (including our newsletter), however you have the ability to unsubscribe any time via an opt-out link in our electronic correspondence.
